Give a trusted helper planning and invitation access without granting full control of the event.
Use Organizer for planning help
An Organizer can view the event, RSVP, use sign-up sheets, invite participants, and manage shared planning work such as sign-ups and checklists.
Create and manage polls
Organizers can create and manage event polls. Poll access follows event permissions and collaboration settings; it does not require a Hostly Pro entitlement.
Know the limits
An Organizer cannot edit the event's core settings, change other people's roles, remove members, cancel the event, or delete it. Those actions remain with the Creator and Hosts.
Promote a trusted participant
A Creator or Host can open an eligible participant in the People view, choose Change role, and select Organizer. The change takes effect for that event only.
Choose the narrowest useful access
Use Organizer when one person should coordinate guests and planning. If several guests only need to help with one planning tool, collaboration mode is usually a better fit.
